These darling chairs were unmistakable with their chevron stripes and bamboo frames–it seemed that every caf in Paris had been issued a few dozen for their outdoor areas. I didnt mind–I adored them, both for their quintessentially French style as well as for their sturdiness. We have our own version, the Montaigne Chair in Blue Pearl (and its taller sibling, theMontaigne Counter Stool), that has arms (many in France dont), synthetic waterproof wicker, and two gorgeous colorways.
